UCHS Team Ranks Among Top 10 in the 2013 Kentucky Personal Finance Challenge
A team of Union County High School students led by teacher David Curtis ranked among the top 10 high school teams for 2013 Kentucky Personal Finance Challenge. There were 426 teams from 50 schools registered. A total of 342 teams of 1,188 students from 45 school participated in the Personal Finance Challenges this year. Congratulations to all of our participants on a job well done!!
This program was sponsored by LGE-KU and the Kentucky Council on Economic Education. This exciting challenge will be held annually to encourage students to learn personal finance concepts they will use in the real-world throughout their lives. A better understanding of these concepts helps students make sound money decisions and increases the likelihood that they’ll meet their financial goals as adults.
